Just Start Pedaling
I walked into the gym at a hotel last week, determined to get some miles in on the stationary bike. I sat down, adjusted the seat, and stared at the screen. No power. No response. I started pressing all the buttons—resistance, program, start, stop—nothing. I unplugged and replugged the machine, tapped the screen like it was a stubborn smartphone, even looked around to see if I needed to scan my room card. Still nothing.
After an embarrassingly long struggle, I finally figured it out: all I had to do was start pedaling.
It got me thinking—how often do we overcomplicate things in life and business? We hesitate, waiting for the perfect moment, trying to perfectly map out every step before we even begin. But sometimes, the best decision you can make is to just start moving. Action creates momentum, and momentum creates progress.
So whatever it is you’ve been putting off—just start pedaling. The path will power on as you go.
